I'm silent because Lisa is a part of me. Her smile is forever imprinted in my heart. I will miss you, Lisa... but I KNOW that you are with our Father and with us in spirit. My prayers for comfort are with everyone who has shared a moment with Lisa and her amazing smile. And to my family of choice, stand strong on the word of God, continue to be blessed by her memories and your experiences you shared, and with the knowledge that she IS loved ever so dearly in heaven and on earth. Love to you all.

To the family of Lisa Walker-Smith you'll have my deepest Sympathy! The last time I saw Lisa was at my one and only niece's funeral. Lisa was always cheerful , friendly and funny. She love to make everyone laugh. Lisa was a good friend to everyone and now she is our ANGEL. Love you and will miss you even though we did not get a chance to see or talk to each other. R.I.P.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of my dear friend Lisa. Beautiful young lady with a great spirit we were childhood friends would walk from the Eastside to Tatumville and talk on the telephone all night long. I love you my sister you will be greatly missed. Rest in Peace and to the family she is an Angel going home to be with her Father

Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free!
I follow the plan God laid for me.
I saw His face, I heard His call,
I took His hand and left it all...
I could not stay another day,
To love, to laugh, to work or play;
Tasks left undone must stay that way.
And if my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss...
Ah yes, these things I, too, shall miss.
My life's been full, I've savoured much:
Good times, good friends, a loved-one's touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief—
Don't shorten yours with undue grief.
Be not burdened with tears of sorrow,
Enjoy the sunshine of the morrow.

Although I did not see or speak to her often, my heart aches for her loss. I will always hold on to the memories that we've shared, there were good times and funny moments. Lisa was a beautiful person, always bubbly with that beautiful smile on her face. She now looks down from heaven watching over those who were dear to her heart. RIP Lisa Walker

Oh what wonderful sister, friend, mother, aunt, grandmother, and godmother Lisa was. Lisa is loved and will always be by those who knew her. What a loving and humble person Lisa was and her memory will live on in our hearts as her spirit will be with us always. She had a way of lifting us up and making seem so much clearer as well as obtain piece of mind in all situations. Lisa inspire us in so many ways and to see good side of situation and not be control by a situation. Lisa would say don't worry about that, whatever, it may be because God would take care of it. There is not a person that she did not love or try to see the best in. Lisa was loving and stern with her grandchildren as she only wanted the best for them. She wanted the best for her children, siblings, all family members, friends, and he those that she did not know that well. Oh how Lisa could turn ones sadness into joy just by her love, conversation , humble spirit and setting an example that we can all learn from. My sister and my friend you are missed already even though you are in our hearts as you will forever be with us. So I say to my loving sister and friend a temporary farewell for now, but not good bye because we will see each other again. Lisa, we all love you more than words can express. We are so blessed to have been a part of your life and to share your many beautiful memories with you as well as to share joyous time and day with you prior to Our father calling you home. All the memories of you and with you will be cherished forever.

Since finding out such terrible news of mama (Lisa's) passing, my heart is still heavy. Over 27 years of being apart of my life, it's going to be hard having to accept that she's no longer here, physically. Feels like a part of me has died because she was not just my best friends mother, I considered her my mother too, and I was (still is) her daughter. I know GOD is going to see me through this. But, I wish I had just a little more time with you to talk, and laugh together like we use to. I will forever be indebted to her for everything she has taught me over the years. To Valentina, Roosevelt, Alana and Aja; I'm truly sorry for your lost. My condolences to you and the entire family.
Love always,
The Simmons and Cutkelvin Family...

Beautiful face, beautiful spirit, nice, kind, always concerned about her friends and especially her family. We had not seen each other in over thirty years but you could not tell. We would be on the phone for hours when we talked and tried to describe our how we have changed over the years. We just laughed through our whole conversations. I was at the Walker house everyday when we were growing up. Everyone there was good to me. Will miss all my birthday texts and will miss sending birthday texts. We called each other "best friends". Missing her already. Praying for you family.
