Mrs. Nicole Rebecca (Gay) Floyd

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dearly beloved Nicole Rebecca Floyd, formerly Nicole Rebecca Gay, who departed from this world on May 27th, 2023, in Savannah, Georgia. Nicole was born on September 9th, 1990, in Boston, Massachusetts.

Nicole moved to Lithonia, Georgia, with her mother and stepfather, Reva and Stanley Fitzpatrick. It was there that she attended Miller Grove High School and met her husband, Jalil Saleem Floyd. Together, they moved to Savannah, Georgia, where they were blessed with two beautiful sons, Khyri and Ehren.

Endlessly creative, Nicole had a deep passion for writing, singing, painting, crafting, gardening, and baking. She enjoyed game nights with family and friends, walks through parks, and advocating for moms dealing with postpartum depression. Her love for her family knew no bounds, as she consistently placed their needs above her own.

Nicole is survived by her husband, Jalil Saleem Floyd, and her children, Khyri Qadir Wali Floyd and Ehren Amir Nicolas Floyd. She also leaves behind her mother and stepfather, Reva and Stanley Fitzpatrick, her biological father, brother, stepsiblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of family and friends.

Nicole's legacy of love and compassion will continue to inspire us all. We will forever hold cherished memories of her in our hearts. May she find eternal peace.
