Mrs. Joan (Jones) Knight

Mrs. Joan Knight 79, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 20, 2020 at her home in Pooler, GA. She was born on December 18, 1940, in Savannah, Georgia to Helen and Richard Jones. Joan was married to Robert Knight. She worked as a telephone dispatcher with New York Telecom, quickly moving up the ladder to Escalations Manager.  Joan truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures like spending time with her family, shopping, and traveling.  She had a giving spirit and was loved by all.  Regardless of the battles and obstacles that came her way, she inspired and encouraged many with her positive outlook on life. She is survived by her bother, Quincy Jones; sister, Delores Doctor;  a host of nieces, nephews, and close friends.
