Mack Johnson Obituary

The Johnson Family officially announces,

The Obsequies for

Mack Freddie Johnson

With tremendous sorrow, we bow to the will of our Heavenly Father as we humbly announced the unforeseen, yet triumphant journey of our beloved,

Mack Freddie Johnson

In the timeless echoes of eternity, amidst the whispers of the celestial realm, the immortal words of Jesus resound; “Jesus said unto him, I am the resurrection and the life: he that believeth in me though he were dead’ yet shall he live: and whosoever livery and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this.

On November 22, 2024, the angel of silence came, and the celestial clock chimed at the precise hour, the mortal shall transcend the boundaries of morality, embracing the realm of the immortal.

A beloved brother, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend, cherished by all who knew him.

Mack is survived by his oldest sister, Elizabeth Lemon, and his devoted daughter, Kim Johnson. He found immense joy in his role as a grandfather to Christopher Johnson, A'riel Johnson, and Cedric Campbell Jr., who will forever hold dear the memories of their time together. Mack also leaves behind a loving extended family, including nieces Patricia L. Thomas (Wayne), Debra A. Belt (Eric), and Lisa Davis Maultsby; nephews Reginald Davis (LaTonjua), Gregory Davis, and James Lemon Jr.; along with numerous grandnieces, grandnephews, a host of cousins, and close friends.

Mack proudly served in the United States Air Force and the National Guard, demonstrating his commitment to his country. He later enjoyed a fulfilling career at Union Camp, where he made lasting friendships and contributed to his community.

Known for his warm heart, infectious smile, and unwavering support for his family, Mack will be deeply missed but will live on in the hearts of those he touched throughout his life.

A celebration of Mack's life will be held at a later date, allowing family and friends to come together in remembrance. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the March of Dimes in Mack's honor.
