The Hall Family officially announces the obsequies for Mr. John Wallace Hall.

With tremendous sorrow, we submit  our saddened hearts to the will of our Father as we humbly announce the unforeseen, yet Triumphant Transitory Journey of our beloved, Mr. John Wallace Hall. For we don't weep as those who have no hope, but rejoice that he's now received his reward on Thursday, March 18, 2021.

Mr. John Wallace Hall was born on October 23, 1947 to Bertha and Fred Hall, Jr. In addition to his parents, his great aunts, the late Cecelia and Rosetta Jones, were also an instrumental part of raising him from a young age in Claxton, Georgia. 


He began his christian journey with Mount Pleasant Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend E. M. Solomon.


John was educated in the public school system of Evans County (Claxton) Georgia, and graduated from Evans County High School.


John Wallace Hall began his career with the United States Marine Corp., shortly after graduating from high school and  was a Vietnam  War Veteran. Along John's, life he continued his career with the City of Savannah as a Fireman and retired with many years of dedicated service. A man ever dedicated to working, he worked for many years with Tire City. We pause here to pay a loving tribute to one who was loved so much by so many.

He will be celebrated and remembered by his loving and devoted wife, Sonja Hall of Savannah, three children, Jamoun Hall, Jamonoski (Kimberly) Hall, and Dr. Joylene Hall,  Jacksonville, Florida, grandchildren, Jamonoski, Jr., Maurissa (Pierre), Tyeisha, Tonyja, Jonyja, Koloha, stepchildren, Miriam (Nkasana) Pebbles and Manuel Csabraits-Thomas, step-grandchildren, Donte, Jade, Justine, great-grandchildren, Julia, Noah, Lilah, Bernard Jr., Brandon, Brianna, Jamonoski III, Jeremiah, Cattleya, and Harmony, three sisters, Freddie Baker, Rosa Pyles and Roberta Hall, one brother, Larry (Angie) Hall, two aunts, Melba Norwood, Willa (Ecres) Ranson, a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
