Isaac "Ike" Jones

With tremendous sorrow, we submit our saddened hearts to the will of our Father as we humbly announce the unforeseen, yet Triumphant journey of our beloved, 

Mr. Isaac Jones, who gently closed his eyes and return to God's garden of peace. For we don't weep as those who have no hope, but rejoice that he has now received his reward on

Saturday, December 10, 2022.

Isaac "Ike" Jones was born on May 24, 1958, to Samuel and Evelyn Jones in Hampton, South Carolina.  Mr. Ike graduated from Wade Hampton High School. in 1976. He enjoyed playing cards, collecting guns, cars, fried chicken and fireball.  

Mr. Ike retired from the Savannah Chatham County Public School System after 26 years as a custodian at A. E. Beach High School and R. W. Groves High School.  He was also employed as a Security Officer for several businesses within the Savannah Community for the last 15 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Sam Eddie Jones, Leroy Jones, Sannie Jones, Joseph Jones and Samuel Jones, a sister, Sara Coker.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his children, Latoya Richards, Isaac Jones, Chandralyn (Antonia) Jones, and Zandria Jones, siblings Ruth Ann Smith, Mariah Jones and Roosevelt Simmons, a grandchild, and a multitude of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 am Saturday December 17th, 2022, at The Chapel of Bynes-Royall, 204 West Hall St., Savannah, GA 31401, Public viewing 3-6:00 pm Friday December 16, 2022, at the Chapel of Bynes-Royall Funeral Home.
