Mr. Alvin Gadson
The family of Mr. Alvin Gadson, age 78, announces the transition of their beloved father on Friday August 14, 2020, in the comfort of his home surrounded by his beloved family.
Alvin was born on August 24, 1941, to Ms. Thelma Milton. He received his formal education in the public school system of Chatham County and was a graduate of Woodville-Thomkins High School.
He began his professional career with the City of Savannah as a Rigger and retired after many years of dedicated service. Alvin also served his beloved country as a United States Army where he received an honorable discharge.
At a early age Alvin confessed his hope and belief in Jesus and remained a Christian in his heart until his final hour.
He was preceded in death by his mother Thelma Milton and son Lorenzo Gadson.
His loving and caring legacy will live on in his beloved children, two daughters, Jacqueline (Kevin) Harden, Sabrina (Hurty) Anderson both of Pooler, Georgia, two sons, Eric Gadson and Rolando Gadson, both of Savannah, Georgia, a devoted caregiver and sister, Andrea Perry, a life long friend and mother of his children, Gwendolyn Elaine Gadson, fourteen grandchildren, a multitude of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Remembrance Service will be held Sunday, August 23, 2020, 12:00 Noon, in the Frank H. & Frenchye M. Bynes Memorial Chapel of Bynes Royall Funeral Home.
