Mr. Nathaniel Merriman was born September 4th, 1939 to the parents of  George and Nancy Merriman in Savannah, Georgia.

He was employed by the  City of Savannah for over thirty years in the public works department.

Nathaniel  W. Merriman transitioned into eternal rest, Tuesday, August 30, 2022

at St. Joseph's  hospital with his love ones at his side.

He is preceded in death by his son, Kevin Merriman; Parents, George and Nancy Merriman; uncles, John and Tamas Merriman.

He leaves to cherish his memories; wife, Ethel Merriman of Savannah, Ga; son, James Holmes of Savannah, Ga; daughters, Antionette Edwards and Jacquelyn Mulenga of Atlanta, Ga; 8 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
