Joyce Alicia Holley was born on August 15, 1971 to Camille Kyser-Holley and Johnny Pettaway, Sr., in Cleveland, Ohio. She was educated in the Cleveland Public and Shaker Heights Schools. Joyce received her FED from the Cleveland Job Corps. She worked in a clinic in Cleveland as a CNA and also had various other jobs.
Joyce accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior early in life where she attended St. James AME Church and Christ Our Redeemer. At the time of her demise, she was a member of Faith Temple of Heavenly Praises with Pastor Ervin Roberson presiding.
Ms. Joyce Alicia Holley transitioned Saturday April 10, 2021 at Memorial Medical Center University. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, James and Adelaide Kyser, her brother, Michael A. Holley and her daughter, Ariel Holley.
She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Camille Kyser-Holley; aunt, Melody Kyser (Richard) Baker; children; London and Teliah Holley; grandson, Jayce Holley; siblings, Shakir Khalid (formerly Derek Holley, Sr.), Adrienne (Stanford) Gaston, Elise Napier, Denise (Brian) Berstein, Andre, Katherine, Lady and Johnny Pettaway, Jr; niece, Nicole (Dan) Vann; nephews Derek Holley, Jr. and Lennell Echols; grandnieces, Leah Holley and Miranda Vann; grandnephew, Cameron Holley; cousins, Victor Kyser, Angela Collins, Sam Jones, Billy Kyser and Monica (Billy) Starks and a host of Loving relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Wednesday April 21, 2021 at the Chapel Of Bynes-Royall Funeral Home. Public viewing Tuesday April 20, 2021 form 3-6:00 pm. Masks and Social Distancing are required,
