Ecclesiastes 3:1-2 (KJV)

1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;

George Warren Jackson, was born to Dessie and Daniel Jackson on December 30, 1936. He was the last of 5 children.

He was a member of St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church.  He was employed at Union Camp ( now International Paper) for many years until retirement.  He served in the Air Force for a few years and was Honorable discharged.

George was united in holy matrimony to Mary Hayes, to this union four children were born; Karen, George, Gregory and Tracy.

On June 12, 2016 George was called home to be with the Lord.  He is preceded in death by his wife Mary, whom passed on 3/13/16.

He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters, Karen Hunter (Joe) and Tracy Jackson both of Savannah: two sons George Jackson of Sacramento, CA and Gregory (Shirley) Jackson of Atlanta, GA.

He also leaves cherished memories to nine grandchildren, one great-grand and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
