Stephen (Steve) Augustus Mullice, 68, Sr. departed this life Saturday, October 14, 2017 at his residence in his loved Freedman Grove Community. He was born April 28, 1949 to the late Samuel and Cornelia Mullice. Steve, a retired state probation office community coordinator, dedicated his life to the service of his community serving the Coastal Electric Membership Board, the Liberty County Election Board, the Boy Scouts of America, the Hinesville Officials Association, the Liberty County Recreation Department and many other organizations. He was a dedicated member and deacon of Beach Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Midway, GA

He leaves to cherish his memory his dedicated wife of 47 years, Mary E. LeCounte, his devoted son, Stephen (Mary K.) Mullice, II; his cherished grandchildren, Faith Gabrielle and Stephen Noah Mullice; and his faithful brother Alfred (Pauli) Mullice.

Funeral Services will be held 12 noon, Saturday, October 21, 2017 at First Zion Baptist Church, 1642 Barrington Ferry Road, Riceboro, GA , Reverend Ernest A. Ransom officiating.Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Friday, October 20 ,2017 at Beach Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 4196 Coastal Highway, Midway, GA.
