Mother Albertha F. Brown age 93, entered into the heavenly gates on Monday May 8, 2017 from the comforts of The Place at Place at Pooler. She was educated in the Public School System of Jasper County South Carolina. Mrs. Brown was employed by the Chatham County Health Department and retired as a  Family Planning Tech after thirty years of dedicated service.Mother Brown was a faithful member of First Union Missionary Baptist Church where she served in various ministries.

She leaves to cherish her memory, two, sons, Arthur Lee Jackson, Lieutenant Colonel Sylvester (A Special Daughter in Law, Ivey Jean) Brown, Sr., 7 grandchildren, Michelle Smith, Camille Green, Eunice Jackson, Peatra Kates, Sylvester Brown, Jr., Erica Brown and Peter James Brown, III.,

Celebration of Life Service For Mother Albertha F. Brown will be held 11:00 AM. Saturday May 13, 2017 at Second Arnold Baptist Church, Dr. Richard Hall, Pastor / Eulogist, Interment State Cemetery Hardeeville S.C.

Remains will lie in state at the Church 9:00AM until hour of service.
