Mrs. Patricia Ann (Hewitt) Bynes

An Angel was Born: Patricia was born November 19,1949 to Isolm and Alzena Hewitt in Savannah, GA. She was preceded in death by both her parents and her siblings; Joe and Donald Hewitt.

A Time to Build and Educate: Pat was a graduate of the 1967 class of Sol C. Johnson. She received  her Bachelor's and Master's degree's from Savannah State College.. She was a Social Worker for the State of Georgia for over 30 years.

A Time to Love:  In 1983 she married Edward Bynes, Sr. and to this union 2 children were born; Edward,Jr. and Madonna.

A Time to Live and Embrace: Pat was Baptized at Litway Missionary Baptist church at an early age. She later became a member of Wilmimgton Missionary Baptist Church where she was dedicated and devoted member. She taught Sunday School and served in other capacities. In 2003, she was diagnosed with breast cancer and committed her life to being a spokesperson for Breast Cancer research.

A Time To Mourn: On Thursday January 3, 2019,  Mrs. Patricia Bynes quietly transitioned to her Heavenly Home with her devoted family by her side.  She leaves to cherish her loving and fond memories her husband for over 35 years, Mr. Edward Bynes, Sr.; two loving children, Mr. Edward  (Sierra) Bynes, Jr. and Ms. Madonna Patrice Bynes; two beautiful and precious grand daughters, Miss Jordae Bynes and Lil  Miss Harper Thomas;  A loving and devoted niece, Alzena (Chico) Hewitt-Bason  of Murfreesboro, TN and a host of other relatives and  friends. Funeral services will be held 11:00am Saturday January 12, 2019 at Litway Baptist Church Rev. Dr. Leonard Smalls Pastor/ Rev. Joey Horton Pastor of Wilmington Missionary Baptist Church/ Eulogst . Interment Oak Grove Cemetery. Professional services entrusted to Bynes-Royall Funeral.
