Mrs. Ruthie Mae Bryant was born August 8, 1928 in Pulaski Georgia to Lola Marie Mosley and Rufus Stewart.. She was the 13th child born to this union. Ruthie was preceded in death by her parents,  daughter, Mary Lois Bryan, son Robert Lee Bryant and granddaughter, Felicia Bryant. She was a life-long member of Second Mt. Zion Baptist Church.  Ruthie received her education in the public schools of Pulaski, Georgia. She was employed at Georgia Regional Hospital and Hunter Army Airfield for many years. She was a loving mother and caring mother to all of her family and friends.

On Thursday August 17, 2017  at  Candler Hospital surrounded by her loving family, our beloved Ruthie went home to be with the Lord. Affectionately known as "Mama", she leaves her wonderful memories to a special devoted friend, Ivory McDonald; 4 daughters, Lola Bryant Polite, Shirley Ann Bryant-Burns, Mae Helen Bryant and Jernell Bryant all of Savannah, Georgia; three sons, Leroy Bryant, Jr. (Frances), Freddie Bryant and Donald Bryant all of Savannah, Georgia; 28 grandchildren, 76 great grands, 41 great great grands and a host of other relavtives and friends that will miss her and her smile.

 Funeral services will be held 11:00am Saturday August 26, 2017 at Connor's Temple Church, Terrance L. Burrell,Sr. Pastor/Rev. Dennis Frazier, Eulogist (Pastor of  Second Mt. Zion Baptist Church). Visitation Friday  5-7:00 pm at Second Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 603 Kline Street. Body will lie instate 9:00 am at the church.  Interment Lincoln Memorial Cemetery
