“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” ~ John 14:27

February 11, 1954 was the beginning of life for Linda Marie Lynch-Roberson born in Savannah, GA. to the late Maggie Mae Brown and Lee Ernest Lynch, Sr. Linda was educated in the public-school system in Savannah GA, later enrolling in Job Corp’s Nursing Program.

Linda accepted Christ at an early age joining First Metropolitan Baptist Church. Without a doubt, Linda loved all nine of her children unconditionally and even through her trials and tribulations they felt that love, and will forever remember her biggest gift of all and that’s LIFE! Linda enjoyed spending time with her family. She was known to many by her beautiful smile that brightened the universe and a quirky conversation that we understood to be her trademark with a multitude of adjectives to go along.

Linda proved that she was a strong woman, even with her mental illness, she fought until she heard the Lord say, “Well done, thy good and faithful servant!” On May 21, 2017 at 4:35pm God touched Linda and said, “the battle has been won,” He stopped her heart of compassion, wiped her tears, closed her eyes and ushered her home.

Linda was preceded in death by her baby sister Victoria Lynch. She leaves to celebrate her life and cherish her memories, five daughters and four sons: Etoye Lynch, Jerry(Francina)Lynch, Terry Lynch, Kevin Lynch, Ivory Lynch, Leola Roberson, Theodore Roberson, Bridgett Roberson and Brittany Roberson, all of Savannah, GA.
