On June 5, 2016, Heaven's angels called James Osborn Sallen aka "Papa" home from labor to reward.
James O. Sallen was a native of Richmond Hill, Georgia. He attended Savannah State University, where he was pursuing a degree in Journalism. James was an employee at the Shellhouse from 1988 until present. He was born on August 15, 1966. He was preceded in death by Dorothy and William Mincey, Sr. He leaves cherishing memories with four aunts: Barbara (Rueben) Smith, Helen Sallen, Sarah (Merritt) Houston, and Gloria Sallen and three uncles, Walter Sallen, Johnny (Janie) Renfre, and Andrew Sallen.  He leaves behind two brothers, William V. Mincey, Jr. and Rev. Timmie Curry, son Rachain (Sabbrina) Heyward, and God-son Keyon Sallen (of the home), two grand-daughters Ranaja, and Stanqu Hayward, nephew, William V. Mincey III,  niece LeBrea Mincey, two great nephews Dyland and Markus, three great nieces, Meadow, Anniston, and Zalayn, loving, caring God-niece Desaray Greeley, a caring God-Sister Racheal (Dominque) Gains of Florida, affectionate God-mother, a host of other God-children, God-Nieces, and nephews (Jazzlyn, Gage, and Daquan), co-workers, friends, and loved ones.
