Deacon Ozzie C. Miller Sr. 79, of Savannah, Ga entered into eternal rest on Friday, December 15, 2017 at his residence under Hospice of Savannah surrounded by his loving and devoted family. 

Mr. Ozzie C. Miller Sr. was born in Egypt, Georgia on June 9, 1938 to the late Mr. & Mrs. Earnest & Lottie Miller. He moved to Savannah, Georgia at an early age. He was educated in the Chatham County Public School System. He was a member of Mt. Olivet Missionary Baptist Church, where he served faithfully as a deacon. For over 40 years, he was employed by Kroger Co. until he retired. Ozzie was united in holy matrimony to Mrs. Emily Miller on April 25,1959 and to this union four loving and devoted children were born, Earnest, Brenda, Ozzie Jr. and Victor.

On Friday, December 15, 2017, an all wise all loving Heavenly Father called home the spirit of Deacon Ozzie C. Miller Sr. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Mrs. Emily Miller and devoted son, Mr. Ozzie Miller Jr. He leaves to cherish his loving memory: daughter, Ms. Brenda Taylor; Sons, Mr. Earnest Miller and Victor Miller; Six grandchildren, James (Jacquelyn) Taylor;  Charone Taylor, Laneika Miller, Victor Miller Jr., Miguel Mitchell and Walayisha Miller; Four great-grandchildren, Makayla Scott, Kemond Wilson, Victoria Miller and Jo'Hannah Miller; Special granddaughter Latricia Wallace, Taneisha Williams; Three adopted sons, Ervin Edwards, Jerry & Terry Anderson. and a host of niece, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 23, 2017 at Mt. Olivet Missionary Baptist Church located at 4528 Ogeechee Rd Savannah,Ga 31405. Rev. Andrew Staley, Pastor/Eulogist body will lie instate at 9:00 a.m. at Mt Olivet Missionary Baptist Church.

Interment: Bonaventure Cemetery Greenwich Section.
